Early Childhood Education
3/6 years
We learn comprehensively to grow in all areas
From the first day, at IPSI, we accompany students in their academic, human, social, and cultural development. Because, for us, this is education: a comprehensive and cross-curricular formation, providing each child with the best tools for their growth in all areas
At school, every day is an adventure!

Academic Formation
In early childhood education, we begin the journey towards the acquisition and development of all the competencies specific to this stage, ensuring that each child progresses in the educational process and acquires a basic skill: learning to learn.
To do this, we work on projects that put into practice reasoning, organization, and creativity, while also stimulating logical thinking and cognitive abilities.Additionally, students also practice oral skills, reading, and writing, while learning the importance of effort and perseverance, and deepening the acquisition of habits and routines.
How do we evaluate learning?
With the aim of providing constant and individual monitoring of each student, assessment is continuous and global.
This allows us to identify the child’s own characteristics and closely monitor their progress: a key aspect to ensure the achievement of objectives and, when necessary, adapt pedagogical support.
Human Formation
Self-esteem, respect, tolerance, patience, collaboration, or recognition of mistakes are values as important as any academic knowledge. Therefore, in the classroom, we establish the foundations for students to grow in these terms, and all teaching staff serve as positive role models to guide children in their learning.

How do we work on values education?
- We include work on attitude, values, and norms in each of the curriculum projects.
- We develop cross-curricular projects on health, environment, cooperation…
- We promote personal growth and social integration with group dynamic activities focused on the development and maturation of each student.

Social and Cultural Formation
We take advantage of different projects and spaces to stimulate responsible and mature coexistence, always based on values such as respect, tolerance, interest, and participation.
Furthermore, we expand learning by promoting our culture and caring for our environment: we go on outings that promote respect for the environment, explore the city and its surroundings, and celebrate traditional festivals with recreational, artistic, and gastronomic activities.
Attention to Diversity
We have various resources, strategies, and methodologies to address diversity inside and outside the classroom.
- Co-teaching: we increase personnel within the classroom to ensure the best attention to students. We apply teaching pairs in many different areas, from English and music to psychomotricity, mathematics, science, or language.
- Learning areas: we use different classroom spaces to create various work areas and carry out cross-curricular and multi-level projects.
- Resources for students with special educational needs: we have specific materials for children who require them, and we develop individualized work plans and strategies.
- Emotional support: we establish a direct and continuous relationship with both students and families, building trust bonds and guaranteeing full support.
- Thorough tutorial monitoring: we closely monitor the child’s progress in the educational process to ensure the achievement of all set objectives.
- In-house Educational Guidance Service: psychologists and pedagogues closely follow the students’ growth, evaluating their progress and adapting dynamics to their growth pace.Coordination with external services: we work together with psychologists and/or social workers from the EAP, as well as professionals who assist students with special educational needs. The objective is to offer a coordinated response to the child and the family, accompanying them throughout the educational process.
How do we organize this learning stage?
We are a solid teaching team, providing comprehensive support and having our own educational guidance service. Additionally, we coordinate with external professionals to meet the needs of students and, overall, to shape competent, curious, respectful individuals with a promising future.
