We are one of the most outstanding children’s choral ensembles in Catalonia and the most emblematic group of IPSI school based in Barcelona. Founded in 1989, it was run by Òscar Boada for 35 years.

Now

Under the current direction of Pilar Paredes, the choir is composed of 29 singers aged 9 to 16. Its excellence is based on intensive training with daily rehearsals and individual vocal technique lessons, ensuring a high artistic level.

Uniqueness

Cor Vivaldi stands out for organising an annual cycle of four concerts with different repertoires, an initiative now in its 23rd edition.

Collaborations

Its versatility has led it to collaborate with prestigious conductors and participate in film, opera, and contemporary music projects. It has taken part in major productions such as Alexina B. at the Liceu and The Lord of the Rings concerts and has performed on renowned international stages such as the Wiener Konzerthaus, Victoria Hall, and the Palau de la Música Catalana.

History

With more than thirty-five years of experience, it has received numerous accolades, the most recent being first prize at the II Certamen Coral Ciudad de Granada (February 2024).

Artistic Commitment

By combining interpretative excellence, technique, and a strong cultural commitment, Cor Vivaldi contributes to the preservation and international promotion of Catalan choral heritage, establishing itself as a benchmark in the musical landscape.
