If you wish to get to know our school and consider the possibility of starting the pre-registration process, you will need to follow some procedures, some of which are carried out at the School and others at the Department of Education, online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arrange an Informational Visit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To get to know IPSI, you can call 93 444 90 00 ext.5 or fill out the visit request form<\/a>, and you will be able to arrange an informational visit with the stage director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will provide you with as detailed information as possible about the educational project of the Centre, the general organization of the School and of the stages in particular, the working methodology, extracurricular activities, school services, fees, and anything else that may be of interest to you. We will also respond to any concerns and doubts you may have accurately and specifically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Submit the Pre-registration Application<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At this point, if you believe that IPSI is your school, and you want to start the pre-registration process, the first thing you will need to do is fill out the pre-registration form from the department’s website; this is one of the online procedures that must be done throughout the process until enrollment. Therefore, we will contact you shortly before the official pre-registration period begins, which is determined by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya, to indicate how to do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will also provide you with the necessary information to correctly carry out all the procedures during the pre-registration process, and in case of doubt, we will always be at your disposal to assist you.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Department’s Place Assignment Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Schools inform the department of the available places at all stages. On the other hand, they receive your pre-registration applications. With all this information, they assign points to each application according to different criteria (geographical, siblings, …).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications with the highest scores are the first to be assigned a place, tied ones enter a draw. Those that do not manage to enter in the first instance remain on a waiting list in case there are any withdrawals. All students have a guaranteed place at some school, but not all will access the school they chose as their first option.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Final Enrollment Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When the student is definitively assigned a place, they will have to formalize the enrollment at the school; if they do not do so within the stipulated deadlines, they will lose the place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the enrollment period is closed, the schools inform the department of the formalized enrollments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nevertheless, students who remain on the waiting list will stay there until the beginning of the school year. If any vacancies occur during this time, they can take advantage of the place.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Meeting of the Student with the Stage Director<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the pre-registration and enrollment process, all admitted students are individually received with their parents by the stage director. The objective of this meeting is to get to know each child individually in order to form the groups in the most suitable way possible. This interview is very interesting for the family as it allows for a first personal and individualized contact with the school.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
